Partnership Development Coordinator

• Support the execution of a proactive lead generation strategy to secure new in-kind and funding partnerships, including diversifying the partner base through new industry segments and growing base-level funders. • Assist with developing prospect research profiles and assist with presenting and promoting business initiatives and opportunities to new audiences and partners, through presentations, briefings and reports to create a pipeline of new partners/donors for Food Banks Canada • Work with senior leadership and internal cross-functional teams to support the identification of partnership opportunities • Support the reporting and financial tracking of strategic partnerships (in CRM database) • Provide coordinated support to help build corporate relationship loyalty through meticulous service and creative problem solving • Assist with the ideation and development of national corporate and cause marketing campaigns for organizations in cultivation
Job Requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma program or equivalent in business, marketing, fundraising management or another related field
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in a related field (business-to-business marketing/sales at an agency level or within a corporate development team with a focus in cause marketing, sponsorship, account development, partner acquisition and/or lead generation)
- Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset
- Ability to coordinate multifaceted projects and a capacity to perform well in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment are essential
- Confident, polished, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office); knowledge of Internet and Intranet etc.
- Knowledge and comfort using CRM/databases (Raiser’s Edge, Mission CRM, Salesforce, etc.)
- Detail oriented, strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills required
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with individuals at various levels of an organization
