Job Description

Strategic Account Manager

Flexcon

• Lead development and execution of national strategic account plans for regional business and coordination of plan development for national strategic accounts with national internal team • Build and strengthen relationships with new and current key customers at all organizational levels between Flexcon and customers, particularly at the senior level • Increase market share by demonstrating brand value and preference with designated key accounts and geographic area • Negotiate Corporate (multi-location) bids and rebate packages, collaborating with various cross-functional teams to recommend best product solutions as needed • Develop and revise business proposals with existing accounts by analyzing historical data on customer spending, as well as considerations of client objectives, timing, product offerings, product performance and inventory availability • Provide a high level of customer intimacy with clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests and proactive resolution of potential issues • Identify critical areas for improvement by diagnosing all aspects of our engagement at each location, while targeting those with the biggest upside potential for growth and partnership • Collaborate closely with Business Development in identifying brand owner pull through opportunities to increase strategic and profitable brand awareness and growth • Learn and build knowledge base on Flexcon products and applications driving value add with customers and/or end-customers • Ensure effective cross functional communication across the internal teams to understand and anticipate customer needs

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred, or equivalent business experience
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a label or flexible packaging manufacturing environment
  • Excellent relationship building throughout key account organization and VOC mentality
  • Experience in building relationships, engaging with, and value selling to C-Level Suite
  • Experience in developing and writing contracts & supply agreements
  • Demonstrated experience working with Converters, Tiered Suppliers & CPGs/OEMs
