Job Requirements

What You'll Be Doing Primary responsibilities of the Prevention Manager (Program Manager II) include: - Facilitate community outreach and engagement activities to raise awareness about substance use issues. - Build and maintain partnerships with a variety of interest groups, including schools, law enforcement, - healthcare providers, youth and community coalitions. The manager acts as a liaison and technical expert on substance use prevention. - Educate on evidence-based policies and initiatives that support substance use prevention and promote public health. - Assess community needs to identify substance abuse problems and trends. Develop evidence-based prevention strategies and programs. This includes creating logic models and action plans. - Oversee the execution of prevention programs.
