Role Description Designs, implements and oversees the physical design and operation of the organization’s databases in order to maintain security and integrity controls. - Oversees operations of on-premises and cloud-based database environments, including production, non-production, and disaster recovery systems. - Designs, implements, and supports hybrid database architectures across on-premises and cloud-based environments. - Leads database migration efforts, including cloud transition strategies with low- to near-zero downtime. - Implements and supports data replication, synchronization, and change data capture solutions. - Designs, configures, and supports virtualized database environments with a focus on performance and scalability. - Develops, maintains, and tests enterprise backup and disaster recovery strategies across hybrid environments. - Collaborates with infrastructure teams to optimize database storage performance across SAN/NAS and cloud-based storage environments. - Designs and develops advanced SQL solutions, including high-performance stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query tuning. - Builds, deploys, and maintains SSIS packages and modern ETL pipelines. - Implements and maintains high availability and resiliency solutions, including Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication, and geo-replication. - Automates database administration, monitoring, deployment, and maintenance processes using scripting and infrastructure automation tools. - Monitors system health and performance; proactively resolves bottlenecks. - Establishes and enforces database security standards, including encryption, identity integration, and auditing. - Advises leadership on data strategy, cloud adoption, and modernization efforts. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field from an accredited college or university and six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in related field; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. - Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate. - Azure Data Engineer Associate or AWS equivalent. - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP). - Oracle GoldenGate certification preferred. - Ability to organize work for timely completion. - Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English. - Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions. - Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. - Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. - Skill in Microsoft Office applications. - Skill using database platforms, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Azure SQL Database, and Amazon RDS. - Skill using cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. - Skill using data integration and replication tools, including Oracle GoldenGate, SQL Server Integration Services, and Azure Data Factory. - Skill using virtualization technologies, including VMware and Oracle VM. - Skill using automation, scripting, and infrastructure automation tools, including PowerShell and Terraform. - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. - Ability to commute with personal transportation. Requirements - Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds). - Functions are regularly performed inside without potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. - The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Role Description TEHORA est présentement à la recherche d’un(e) Administrateur(trice) de bases de données MySQL visant à assurer la disponibilité et la stabilité des services critiques, un service de support opérationnel, incluant une capacité d’astreinte 24/7 et le respect de niveaux de service stricts. - Assurer le support opérationnel des bases de données MySQL dans un contexte de gestion déléguée, incluant les environnements de production et hors production. - Prendre en charge l’ensemble des incidents liés aux bases de données, via les outils de billetterie, de surveillance ou de communication définis, en assurant une couverture continue (24/7 pour la production). - Diagnostiquer et résoudre les incidents, notamment en lien avec : - la disponibilité des bases de données - la réplication des données - la performance et le fonctionnement général des systèmes - Respecter les niveaux de service (SLA) en vigueur, incluant les délais de réponse et de résolution selon la criticité des incidents. - Assurer le support des environnements hors production durant les heures ouvrables, incluant le suivi et le traitement des demandes opérationnelles. - Réaliser, sur demande, des interventions spécialisées telles que : - l’installation et la mise à niveau des bases de données MySQL - l’application de correctifs - la modification de configurations - la migration ou l’évolution des bases de données - Accompagner les équipes internes en répondant aux besoins d’expertise technique liés aux bases de données. - Maintenir un niveau de service conforme aux exigences contractuelles, incluant la traçabilité, le suivi des interventions et le respect des processus établis.
