• Design and own the Infrastructure-as-Code baseline that enables dedicated single-tenant or on-premises deployment with minimal per-customer effort • Stand up and operate Docker and Kubernetes (and K3s for small or in-bank installs), ingress, load balancing, and the CI/CD pipeline • Build and maintain the secrets and certificate story and the observability stack • Define environment promotion, release automation, and rollback procedures — making deployments boring and repeatable • Partner with Security on encryption, network isolation, and exam-ready hardening aligned to regulatory guidance • Right-size and operate GPU and inference infrastructure as the AI workload grows • Establish on-call, SLOs, and capacity planning practices ahead of beta scale-up • Document deployment architecture and operating procedures to support customer due diligence and audit readiness
Lead Data Engineer
UFS TechTechnology Outfitter for Community Banks. Empowering community banks and our people to thrive - together.
• Design the lakehouse: Apache Iceberg (or similar technology) on object storage, a catalog for table management and per-bank isolation, dbt models, and a query engine • Build secure, least-privilege ingestion from bank systems — log-based CDC where permitted, with query-based and batch/SFTP fallbacks, plus an in-bank collector pattern • Own data modeling for the semantic and metric layer (deposits, concentration, uninsured exposure, asset quality, and peer groups) • Handle schema drift, data quality, and reconciliation; make ingestion observable and recoverable • Partner with the AI/ML team on the structured-query path and with Security on PII classification at landing, in alignment with regulatory data-handling requirements • Document data lineage, transformation logic, and access controls to support audit and exam readiness • Define and enforce data contracts, quality thresholds, and alerting for pipeline failures
Lead AI ML Engineer
UFS TechTechnology Outfitter for Community Banks. Empowering community banks and our people to thrive - together.
• Build Navanta’s retrieval and verifications over data systems, with shown queries and citations for every answer • Stand up self-hosted open-weight models serving and embeddings inside each bank’s environment or shared environments for Navanta; evolve RAG to a dedicated standard • Design the MCP tool layer that exposes a small, audited set of read-only tools (metrics, documents, customer 360), eventually growing into read/write tools with heavy amounts of regulated, highly sensitive data • Build and maintain the evaluation harness — golden-question regression, groundedness and retrieval metrics, explicit “I don’t know” behavior — and make it a release gate • Implement LLM guardrails: PII redaction in prompts and context, prompt-injection defenses, and cost and row limits aligned to regulatory security expectations • Partner with data teams so the model selects governed metrics from the semantic layer rather than improvising SQL • Document model architecture, evaluation methodology, and guardrail controls to support customer security reviews and audit readiness • Track latency, cost, and quality trade-offs across model versions and deployment configurations
AI Product Manager
