The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer delivery. You are hands-on-keyboard building POCs, MVPs, and production integrations, while also holding your own in executive-level conversations about architecture, strategy, and business outcomes. - You spend most of your time building. - Ship code, run benchmarks, debug production issues, and architect deployments. - Lead discovery conversations, align stakeholders, and translate customer pain points into product improvements. - Comfortable on-site with customers, building relationships and trust. What You'll Work On - Technical Delivery and Deployment - Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs alongside customer engineering teams. - Architect inference foundations for customers whose core product is built on GenAI. - Run load tests and establish latency, throughput, and cost baselines. - Deploy and validate new model families on inference frameworks. - Model Strategy and Fine-Tuning - Guide customers on model selection and fine-tuning strategy. - Build and run fine-tuning pipelines directly with customers. - Design and implement evaluation frameworks that measure production-quality metrics. - Customer Engagement and Stakeholder Management - Help customers integrate frontier model capabilities into their core offering. - Lead structured discovery conversations to unpack customer pain points. - Own the technical relationship from first engagement through production deployment. - Spend time on-site with customers to build trust and momentum. - Product Feedback and Platform Improvement - Identify recurring customer pain points and translate them into product proposals. - Codify repeatable deployment patterns and contribute them back to internal tooling. - Feed customer signals back into the product roadmap with specificity and urgency. Qualifications - 5+ years in a hands-on, customer-facing technical role. - Demonstrated ability to build production software with customers. - Strong Python skills; comfortable reading, writing, and debugging production code. - Working knowledge of the LLM stack. - Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Exceptional communication skills. Role Description We are seeking a Field Calibration Technician to join our growing remote team. In this role, you’ll perform precise, high-quality calibrations at customer sites across diverse industries and locations. This is a field-based position that offers the chance to travel extensively, gain exposure to different environments, and build strong relationships with customers. Travel includes a mix of local day trips and overnight assignments, depending on project requirements. This is a unique opportunity to broaden your skills across multiple calibration disciplines while working directly with customers and representing our organization in the field. Key Responsibilities - Calibration Execution - Perform calibrations in accordance with company procedures and applicable standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO9001, AS9100, ANZ540.1). - Support a wide range of calibration disciplines with opportunities to cross-train and expand expertise. - Accurately document calibration results with full compliance and traceability. - Maintain calibration standards and report equipment issues as needed. - Adhere to Quality management system policies and procedures when performing work. - Create calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently, with minimal supervision, based upon instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures. - Field Support & Customer Engagement - Travel to customer sites, balancing local assignments with occasional overnight trips. - Set up and support mobile calibration workstations and onsite labs. - Communicate effectively with customers on service progress, technical needs, and scheduling. - Team Collaboration - Partner with supervisors and teammates to ensure projects are completed on time. - Engage in cross-training to grow skills across multiple disciplines. - Share feedback to improve service delivery and customer experience. - Quality & Compliance - Adhere to safety protocols, SOPs, and calibration standards. - Participate in audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement efforts (5S, Kaizen). - Maintain professional, audit-ready workspaces. Qualifications - 5+ years of calibration experience in a lab or field environment. - College Degree in Electronics 2 or 3 years program is preferred. - Experience with GP calibration is required. - Willingness to travel for assignments (local and overnight) with company-covered expenses. - Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and related calibration standards. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures. - Ability to travel as needed for personal skill enhancement and training; as well as, to fully support the customer calibration requirements. Preferred Skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics. - Experience with FSM, CalWeb, or Gage tools. - Ability to work across multiple calibration disciplines. - RF calibration experience. - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. - Development and maintenance of an ISO 9001, and ISO/IEC 17025 compliant quality system. - Prior experience in customer-facing roles or supporting large accounts. Qualifications - Have demonstrated experience with, and proficiency in, sign communication - Have a minimum of three years of experience in the education of the deaf and hard of hearing or ASL instruction - Reside in the state of Texas - Comply with the ethical obligations under §SBEC 230.21 (g) including, but not limited to: - An educator, candidate, or other test taker shall not solicit information about the contents of test items on an examination that the educator, candidate, or other test taker has not already taken from an individual who has had access to those items, or offer information about the contents of specific test items on an examination to individuals who have not yet taken the examination; or - Otherwise engage in conduct that amounts to violations of test security or confidentiality integrity, including cheating, deception, or fraud. - Agree to NOT: - Use training/experience as a scorer to receive compensation for any work in test preparation related to this assessment - Take the exam you are scoring within 180 days of scoring - Must also recuse yourself from scoring any candidate responses where you served as the interviewer Requirements - Evaluate responses to test questions by Texas teacher candidates - Internalize scoring standards, participate in discussions, and engage with other scorers in consensus scoring activities - Recognize and discuss various types of bias (e.g., implicit bias, cultural bias, leniency bias, central tendency bias, halo effect) and effect strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring - Meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program, including passing a qualifying test before scoring Benefits - Starting rate of $17.50 per hour - Working remotely Working Conditions Scoring sessions take place during the week for 3 days, Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturday. Scoring sessions will occur on an intermittent basis every 8 weeks. The scoring day runs from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m., including training. Scorers can expect to work roughly 20 hours every two months. Training takes place before scoring begins. There may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs.
