Role Description The Application Architect is responsible for translating business requirements into technical design specifications for applications. They work directly with development teams to implement those designs and deliver the solutions into production. They are responsible for communicating department standards and best-practices and ensuring they are reflected in the applications. This role is 100% remote and requires working Eastern Time hours. The salary range for this role is $160k - $170k. This role is not eligible for sponsorship. - The Application Architect is an experienced IBM Mainframe developer that designs, documents, programs, and supports Agency Compensation applications that process commission calculations and payments for financial product sales. - The Agency Compensation applications interface with Web Applications. - The Application Architect designs, modifies, and develops systems using advanced techniques. - Evaluates technical feasibility of proposed system solutions, prepares project proposals, and develops/modifies systems to meet business needs. - Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead or direct the work of other developers/projects. Qualifications - Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience. - Minimum 10 years programming and analysis or IT experience. - Participation in major system projects with proficiency in at least one development discipline/platform. - Experience in project life cycle phases including analysis, design, programming, and implementation. Requirements - Highly proficient in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL in a z/OS environment. - Proficient in establishing CICS table entries for new programs, transactions, and files. - Experience in Assembler Language is preferred. - Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills. - Advanced interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. • Lead the HCM workstream internally by coaching more junior consultants • Manage the design and delivery of Workday projects • Work closely with all other Consultants within the workstream • Assist in budgetary accountability for their projects • Serve as the Area Architect for their project

• Manage other Architects and senior level Consultants • Craft a career path and mentor Principal Consultants and Architects reporting to you, completing Red Hat manager enablement in the process • Identify and translate team priorities into actionable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that show team progress towards goals • Assist the RMO with assignment of direct reports for Delivery Engagements and assign necessary technical talent to Pre-Sales opportunities within their business area • Apply Red Hat expertise and support the Service Delivery Lifecycle to scope and deliver consulting engagements with our customers successfully • Design and communicate Enterprise-level architectural roadmaps for Red Hat customers • Run workshops, demos, guide on best practices, and establish communities of practices/excellence at customer sites • Support strategic Services selling initiatives and opportunities, including executive stakeholder engagement to influence a customer’s adoption of solutions • Work closely with product business, product engineering, support, and sales teams to ensure excellent customer experience • Provide technical oversight and a point of escalation between clients and Red Hat • Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities in these engagements for customer success • Develop standard frameworks and methodologies to allow for repeatable Red Hat Consulting pre-sales and engagements • Drive delivery strategy and models as it relates to Services offerings, solutions and programs • Provide leadership and content towards centers of excellence and promoted standards • Attain in-depth knowledge of Red Hat technologies by taking Red Hat enablement and completing learning paths.

Role Description As part of the naval architecture department, you will tackle new and evolving ship design and integration engineering challenges by applying naval architecture principles, techniques, calculations, procedures, and criteria. The projects executed within the team cover the full range of ship design phases from conceptual design through detail design, and post-delivery support. Your contributions will directly support the continued maturation of ship design solutions across all phases of design. - Hydrostatics (weight estimates, intact/damage stability assessments) - Hydrodynamics (hull design, resistance predictions, seakeeping assessments) - Arrangements (general arrangements, compartment outfitting, aviation integration, topside integration) - Overall ship design integration - Requirements development - Executing naval architecture analyses - Working with multi-discipline teams to lead overall ship development and design integration - Leading and successfully executing trade studies and requirements development - Preparing and presenting technical reports and engineering documentation - Proactively interfacing with customers and other stakeholders to discuss design progress Qualifications - U.S. Citizenship and ability to acquire Secret Security Clearance. Active Secret clearance preferred - BS or Advanced Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering - 2-4 years of professional engineering experience - Experience leading/guiding multidisciplinary technical teams preferred - Proficiency in Naval Architecture software tools such as: RHINO, GHS, SHCP, NavCAD, AutoCAD, MS-Office - Excellent communication skills (oral and written, both formal and informal) - Strong time management and organizational skills as an independent contributor - Demonstrated interpersonal skills as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team - Experience with requirements sets such as ABS and US Navy Requirements - PE license in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering preferred - Experience with US Navy ship design and construction preferred Benefits If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
