• Conduct thorough prior art (novelty/patentability, validity, state-of-the-art) and freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches. • Develop and execute complex search strategies tailored to client needs. • Review and assess search lists and patent documents, ensuring high accuracy. • Draft detailed, client-ready reports summarizing findings and offering insights. • Fulfil technical and administrative tasks (Checker 1 and Checker 2) according to ISO 9001 standards. • Depending on experience, conduct patent landscape analyses to provide clients with insights into the competitive and technological environment of specific industries or innovations.
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in patent research, including prior art and freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches.
- Expert knowledge of the tools and techniques used to build effective Boolean search strategies.
- Extensive experience in using global patent databases, including those offering AI search capabilities.
- Strong background in technical subjects, such as engineering or science, to accurately interpret patent documents.
- Expertise in conducting complex patent searches and providing detailed reports.
- In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 processes and the ability to fulfill both technical and administrative tasks (Checker roles).
- Ability to mentor junior analysts and ensure high-quality deliverables through oversight and collaboration.
