Job Description
Project Engineer
CMC
• Works closely with Area Managers, Region Engineers, and Geopier licensee teams to provide project specific technical guidance and direction in support of project feasibility and project bidding efforts for Geopier design build solutions • Collaborate with Area Managers to perform engineering analyses and prepare design reviews • Prepares or reviews engineering calculations and establishes engineering direction on projects with limited supervision • Support Design Center review team by performing slope stability and other geotechnical analyses to prepare RAP designs • Assist in troubleshooting construction challenges and design issues • Review and approve Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) and other system designs • Prepare and deliver technical presentations at internal and external meetings and workshops
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
- Possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions
- Experience reading and interpreting project documents and drawings
- Strong interpersonal skills - articulate communicator, adept in both electronic and verbal communications, professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to plan, prioritize and drive issues, tasks and deliverables from concept to closure
- Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
- Knowledge of computer systems and software, including AutoCAD, Microsoft applications, other geotechnical software including, SLIDE, SLOPE-W, Settle 3D

The Project Engineer provides technical pre-sales and project delivery support to customers and the Andrew regional sales team. The role supports bids, tenders, and proposals through RF design, Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation, and technical solution development. The position also delivers professional services, including system design, site surveys, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of indoor connectivity solutions. Key Responsibilities - Provide pre-sales application engineering support to the sales team, including customer meetings and on-site technical assistance. - Support customers and the sales organization by responding to technical inquiries related to Andrew indoor connectivity and ICN solutions. - Support bids, tenders, and proposals with RF designs, technical documentation, and solution validation. - Design, configure, and validate ICN products and integrated solutions. - Assist with the preparation of quotations, tender responses, and contractual documentation. - Deliver professional services including system design, site surveys, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting. - Perform field-based activities to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and system optimization. - Prepare accurate and timely written and verbal project status and progress reports. - Collaborate with internal support teams and cross-functional business units to ensure successful project delivery and resolution of quality or support issues. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in RF design and/or telecommunications engineering. - Strong working knowledge of current and next-generation communication networks, including wireless and telecom technologies. - Proven ability to understand, communicate, and present technical concepts, products, and solutions. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. - Willingness and ability to travel across France as required.
