Virtual Construction Assistants

Role Description - Read and interpret mechanical/HVAC construction drawings and blueprints - Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for sheet metal, ductwork, and associated piping systems - Capture granular scope items including air outlets, fire/smoke dampers, and other mechanical components - Produce accurate material quantities to support estimating and bidding efforts - Manage takeoffs across multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and completeness - Ensure no gaps or missed items in scope coverage Qualifications - Proven experience performing mechanical/HVAC takeoffs - Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical construction drawings - High attention to detail, particularly in quantity accuracy and scope completeness - Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple takeoff assignments independently Requirements - Experience in estimating/takeoff software (Trimble, Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.) - Procore or similar project management platforms

Role Description We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Solid Rocket Motor Engineering Team. The successful candidate for this role has a strong understanding of thermal analysis principles, with expertise in some of the tools common in industry. As a Thermal Engineer you will conduct detailed thermal analysis of solid rocket motor components. You will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, interface with customers, and drive technical excellence. This is a full-time position with a 9/80 schedule. This position can be remote or at our Huntsville, AL or Hampton, AR facility.
