CPC Application Support Analyst

Atos

• Participate in a Rota to monitor the ServiceNow (SNOW) system for new calls (Monday – Friday, 08:00 - 18:00). • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for applications, addressing incidents assigned via the Service Desk and resolving issues raised by application users in accordance with SLA targets. • Typical incidents include: functionality is not working as expected; missing or incorrect data within the application; data not being correctly passed to third parties via integration components; performance issues affecting user experience. • Respond to information requests, guiding users on how to perform specific activities within the application. • Develop and implement fixes for identified faults within the application. • Conduct operational maintenance to ensure system performance and reliability. • Support disaster recovery testing to ensure operational continuity. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the application, supporting new initiatives and enhancements. • Facilitate the handover of all new or changed functionality from Development, ensuring a comprehensive understanding to effectively explain features to clients in their specific environments.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Function Apps, and Monitor/App Insights.
  • Experience with MVC, .NET Core, and .NET Blazor.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework and SQL Server, including SQL scripting.
  • Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and Windows Server.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of GitHub.
  • Familiarity with YAML pipelines, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Bicep.
  • Knowledge of Selenium.

Role Description The Technical Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and answers to users’ questions, assisting users by troubleshooting problems with computer hardware or software. - Identifies, investigates, and resolves users’ problems with computer software and hardware. - Fields support calls, chats, emails, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns. - Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem. - Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to resolve problems. - Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions. - Collaborates with team to research and resolve problems. - Collaborates with programmers to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in programs. - Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products. - Available after business hours for on-call rotation to provide end user support via remote access. - Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends. - Complies with company policies and procedures (to include all IT required security and privacy policies and procedures), client standards and all applicable federal, state, and regulatory laws. - Performs other duties as assigned.
