Hydrographic Technical Support Consultant

• Provide first-line technical support to customers via email, phone, and online platforms • Deliver software training sessions both remotely and onsite at client locations worldwide • Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing and prospective clients • Analyze customer environments and challenges to identify technical issues and design integrated solutions • Document workflows, standard operating procedures, and technical knowledge for internal and client use • Support marketing and sales initiatives, including participation in international conferences and exhibitions • Provide expert consultancy services as experience and expertise deepen in the role

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, or a related discipline OR equivalent professional experience in hydrographic surveying
  • Experience with hydrographic software such as EIVA, Hypack, QPS, HIPS and SIPS, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred)
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence delivering training to diverse audiences
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
  • Must be a United States citizen (due to client, regulatory, or project requirements)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25–30%)
  • Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
