• Generate, process, and manage orders using TMS software. • Accurately enter shipment data, track order progress, and provide follow-ups as necessary. • Procure carriers and negotiate competitive rates for available shipments. • Dispatch pickup orders and manage daily load activities to ensure timely, efficient delivery. • Track and monitor shipments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. • Provide rate quotes and negotiate pricing directly with sales teams, ensuring prompt and transparent communication. • Actively monitor all loads, collaborating with team members to address issues proactively. • Engage regularly with carriers, shippers, and sales teams to meet service commitments and resolve issues.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in the Transportation / Logistics field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with various transportation modes and trailer types.
  • Experienced with logistics software, including data entry.
  • Knowledgeable in carrier procurement, rate negotiation, and market rate analysis.
  • Effective in coordinating directly with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries and make sound judgment calls.
