Role Description Field based technician (with company truck and your home office) for warranty/technical services at Amrize Building Envelope. What you’ll accomplish: - Performing technical inspections of commercial roofing applications for no-dollar-limit warranty coverage. - Perform leak investigations & make small repairs to stop the roof from leaking. - Assist in completing larger warranty repairs in the region. - May assist other FTR’s with training licensed roofing contractors in proper application techniques for Duro-Last Roofing products. - Responsible for educating customers on specifications and what is needed to warrant the application they are installing. - Ability to develop strong customer relationships and inspire customer confidence. - Ability to follow corporate and division policies and applicable governmental safety regulations are required. - Maintains an understanding of current business initiatives and helping to ensure that they are doing their part to achieve them. - Communicating with customers and balancing customer expectations on service calls and inspections. Ability to prioritize work load. - Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, or Architecture; or minimum 4 years active duty; or High School Diploma with minimum 4 years in construction industry. - Field of Study Preferred: Construction Requirements - Minimum 4 years in construction industry. - 10-15% Overnight/out of town travel required. - Must be personable and professional and maintain high level of integrity. - Strong customer service focus. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to think outside the box. - Good organizational and time management skills are a must. - Must be able to travel overnight 10% to 15% of the time by air or vehicle. - Must also be able to work flexible hours with minimum notification when necessary. - Must possess a current driver’s license. - Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols of Amrize Building Envelope. - Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
