Global Commercial Head of Dehydrated Fruits and Vegetables
GFIC
Role Description This job is about selling fruit and vegetable powders as ingredients to food producers. Products are made from Freeze Drying, Air Drying, and Vacuum drying. Purpose: - To drive sales and marketing efforts of our dehydrated vegetables business across all relevant geographies. - To facilitate development of new products and build Go-To Market strategies for all products based on a deep understanding of market dynamics. Qualifications - Degree in Food Technology and if possible MBA. - Fluent in English and if possible Italian. - Global experience. Requirements - Proven sales and marketing experience in Food & Flavour industry internationally in a similar organisation. - Experienced in Food Ingredients industry. - Technical exposure. - Detailed understanding of product development and management with a good grasp on Go-To-Market strategies. - Must have at least 7 years of category/product management experience. - Solid knowledge of category management, marketing, and sales principles. - Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods. - Must have experience in Category Management in Flavours, Extracts/F&V Powders. Tasks - Analyse data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends regarding the product and category. - Create and develop a strategic long-term plan for the development of the category. - Develop a Go-To-Market strategy for new products. - Build and drive relationships with key vendors to improve pricing and profitability across regions and products. - Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories. - Create forecasts for product demand to ensure sustainability of inventory. - Manage budget development and revenue for the category. - Develop strong working relationships with buying, marketing, and merchandising teams. - Create strategy for the dehydrated category for us globally. - Ensure product availability at all times through accurate forecasting techniques.
