• Ownership of player progression, combat abilities, resource scarcity, and core RPG systems. • Design and prototype puzzles and minigames. • Assist the designs of enemy behaviors and auxiliary game systems. • Implement gameplay features directly in-editor using Blueprint scripting, behavior trees, state machines, or other custom tools. • Analyze player-facing mechanics for clarity, balance, and scalability across the entire game. • Troubleshoot and iterate on design-owned systems, identifying performance, UX, or logic issues before they become production blockers. • Maintain high standards of clean asset organization, naming conventions, versioning, and documentation. • Be highly collaborative with other team members and willing to provide timely and constructive criticism to submissions from colleagues.
• Develop, maintain, and expand upon our existing emulators and tools • Implement and optimize CPU, GPU, audio, and input system emulation • Profile and improve game performance • Debug compatibility issues across a variety of platforms • Reverse engineer games to patch out bugs, replace media, add achievements/trophies, and add a variety of modern enhancements • Collaborate with QA to identify bugs, regressions and accuracy issues • Develop tools and workflows to aid debugging, testing, and validation • Document systems, findings, and technical approaches for internal teams • Communicate with the team on Slack, email, and in meetings to learn, improve, share knowledge and status updates
• Own the analytical engine of our commercialization system: discounting, pricing, regional sales, lifecycle performance, and portfolio analysis across our catalog of hundreds of games • Design and execute experiments in close partnership with our Business Operations Manager, who owns the discount calendar and discount strategy — you bring the analytical rigour, she owns the process and implementation • Build and maintain reporting for physical and digital sales across our publishing labels, including our newly acquired Thunderful portfolio • Take per-game analyses off the Director of Commercialization's plate and execute them consistently and on schedule • Build business cases for commercial decisions including platform deals, pricing changes, bundle strategies, and portfolio opportunities (ports, streaming, cloud gaming, physical partnerships) • Develop metrics to measure the holistic performance of our commercialization system at every level — game, catalog, and company • Inherit and improve AI-powered decision-support tools, including a discount depth recommender and discount scheduler • Identify and build additional automations that reduce manual analytical work across the team — with the goal of progressively freeing up capacity for higher-order problems • Serve as a thought partner on how AI tooling can augment work across departments beyond Commercialization • Work in close partnership with our Business Operations Manager: you own analytical depth, she owns process and execution — the handoff between you should be clean and mutually reinforcing • Present findings and recommendations to the Director of Commercialization and, where relevant, to executive leadership
• Lead production across all North American studios and external development partners • Own the end-to-end production system for North America • Oversee all producers, external development teams, and the full production pipeline • Serve as the Executive Producer across the portfolio • Ensures disciplined milestone execution and enforces production standards • Build scalable production systems and long-term capacity planning • Partner with the VP of Publishing to align production with go-to-market strategies and post-launch support
• Own the end-to-end operational project plan for hardware initiatives, from early concept through manufacturing readiness and launch coordination • Define, maintain, and communicate project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery targets • Track project status daily, identify risks, and proactively escalate issues with clear options and tradeoffs • Ensure hardware programs do not stall due to misalignment, missed handoffs, or unclear ownership • Serve as the primary day-to-day operational driver across Creative, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Logistics, and external partners • Coordinate with Creative on packaging, creative development, and approval timelines • Partner with PR/Communications to ensure hardware readiness supports planned go-to-market timing • Represent the Hardware team on internal project and planning calls, ensuring follow-ups, documentation, and alignment • Coordinate manufacturing readiness in partnership with the Manufacturing Production Manager • Align internal timelines with manufacturing realities, capacity constraints, and delivery windows • Coordinate with licensees and external partners on schedules, approvals, and readiness milestones • Ensure approved designs, documentation, and requirements are complete and ready for factory execution • Create and maintain accurate project tracking systems (Asana, Jira, or similar) • Organize and manage all digital project documentation, ensuring appropriate access for internal and external stakeholders • Assist in project-level financial planning and forecasting, partnering with the Manufacturing Production Manager on manufacturing cost inputs • Prepare and deliver clear internal and external status updates and leadership-level reporting
• Own the end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle for hardware products, from tooling and prototyping through mass production and shipment • Translate approved designs and specifications into executable factory production plans • Manage production schedules, capacity planning, and factory-level risk mitigation • Ensure products are manufactured to required quality standards, timelines, and cost targets • Serve as the primary relationship owner for factories and manufacturing partners • Lead RFQs, cost modeling, vendor selection, negotiation, and purchase orders • Manage ongoing factory performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement • Scale production across multiple manufacturing partners as needed • Own quality assurance processes, including incoming materials, in-process checks, and final inspection • Manage compliance testing and certification requirements (safety, regulatory, regional standards) • Address quality issues proactively and implement corrective actions with vendors • Oversee the handoff of finished goods from factories to distribution centers • Coordinate production readiness and shipment timing with logistics partners • Ensure manufacturing outputs align with agreed delivery windows
• Write and edit copy for retro game manuals and other long-form brand storytelling formats. • Create engaging, persuasive, and brand-aligned copy for various marketing channels, including website content, email campaigns, packaging and physical product materials, and product descriptions and promotional materials. • Review, evaluate, and update historical content to ensure consistency of tone, voice, and accuracy including packaging, manuals, etc. • Research game, product, and franchise history and apply that knowledge to contemporary marketing content. • Organize and manage multiple creative projects at once, meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail. • Help maintain and evolve the Atari brand voice across all communication platforms, ensuring consistency while adapting tone appropriately for different audiences, franchises, and formats. • Learn and apply brand, style, and licensing guidelines accurately and thoughtfully. • Assist in the creation of taglines, slogans, and other marketing copy that captures the essence of the brands within the Atari family while resonating with fans. • Translate game features, differentiators, and nostalgia into clear, consumer-facing messaging. • Partner closely with the Design Team and other LOBs inside the company to develop content that aligns with visual assets and overall product and campaign goals. • Work with our retro games team to understand gameplay, features, and historical context and turn that insight into compelling written content. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
• Support packaging design and production for Atari hardware products, coordinating closely with our Packaging Designer, Hardware Project Coordinators, and manufacturing partners. • Design packaging for physical game releases across all Atari labels, working with internal teams and external distribution partners. • Support end-to-end production workflows for packaging (dieline creation, printer coordination, proofing, and quality control). • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure production accuracy and timelines. • Help ensure packaging quality and consistency across all physical products and retail channels. • Provide creative input and direction on collector’s editions and special packaging for marketing and influencer programs. • Collaborate with internal teams to align packaging with overall brand strategy and visual identity. • Support packaging translations and approvals for international releases.
• Assist in the development of go-to-market plans (campaign phases, themes, channels, promotions). • Ensure all project elements are up-to-date in our master marketing calendar, including all key dates (reveal, alpha/Beta, demos, announcements, launch, post-launch updates). • Serve as the primary coordinator for both our internal creative team and external creative vendors engaged in marketing asset creation (video, motion, print, trailers, asset localization). • Ensure all marketing elements (trailers, screenshots, banners, emails, press kits, social assets, ecommerce assets) are executed according to plan and schedule. • Coordinate with email marketing, social, and community teams to schedule and deliver promotional content. • Understand approval workflows and ensure that all creative assets are reviewed and approved prior to deadline • Ensure that product pages are up-to-date for launch and optimized and updated post-launch, as needed • Act as the digital asset manager for assigned projects: organize, version control, catalogue, and distribute marketing assets as needed to internal and external stakeholders.
