QA Engineer

• Own quality assurance across iOS, Android, and web products • Ensure reliable releases before they reach users • Review 50–60 tickets in Linear (occasionally 100+ during feature pushes) • Test new features against Figma designs across all platforms • Verify multi-role permission logic • Serve as liaison between non-technical product team and technical development team • Catch bugs and design discrepancies before they reach production • Steadily reduce defects that surface in the live environment

Job Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in QA or software testing
  • Hands-on testing experience across iOS, Android, and web applications
  • Experience validating features against design specifications and testing multi-role user permission logic
  • Experience working remotely within a distributed team
  • Demonstrated throughput handling 40–60+ test tickets per day in a rapid-release environment
  • Availability to work during US business hours across EST–PST
  • B2+ English (CEFR) for cross-functional communication with product and development teams
  • Experience with Linear, Figma, and GitHub
  • Experience with AI-assisted or automated regression testing tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium)
  • Background in event technology, hospitality, ticketing, or consumer social platforms
  • Prior QA experience at an early-stage startup (under 50 employees)
  • Experience mentoring or training junior QA team members

Role Description The Testing Evaluator position is a remote, on demand, part-time position. The Testing Evaluator assists with testing for language proficiency examinations, interacting with the examinee in the evaluator's native language. Support for proficiency tests may be provided via telephone, video conferencing, or another technology-based medium (recorded audio etc.), depending on the needs of the test. The tests will be evaluated according to given scoring criteria; therefore, paid training is conducted before starting the job. Testing evaluators must be able to accept and use the required scoring procedure and maintain consistent and reliable scoring throughout their employment. They must also be willing to operate in a repetitive task situation and maintain confidentiality.
