Role Description As a Business Development Manager, you will be a valued member of a team of passionate, service-focused professionals, located all around North America. Ideally, you will work from our office in Ballston, Arlington, VA but we are open to other ARA office locations and teleworking with the right candidate. What you’ll do as a Business Development Manager: - Provide input into a long-range business plan and develop a detailed associated marketing/business plan, including a marketing strategy. - Capture and interpret market intel (directly from customers and indirectly from publications, trade shows, and other sources) and share intel with others through regular communications and through entry into ARA’s customer resource management (CRM) system. - Develop and maintain Air Force business relationships with partners at the Pentagon. - Contact customers on a regular basis to understand their needs/plans and to describe how ARA technologies may help their efforts. - Serve as the ARA Customer Portfolio Manager (CPM) for the Air Force. - Assist with preparation/delivery of briefings to ARA senior leadership. - Collaborate with ARA subject matter experts to develop value propositions to customers. Qualifications - M.S. degree or equivalent in physics, engineering, mathematics, chemistry, biology, or other hard science. - Prior service in the U.S. Air Force strongly preferred. Role Description The Senior Data Engineer is a technical-facing role within an Information Services, Analytics, or Engineering organization that leverages business relationships to design, develop, and deploy analytics solutions. As such, the Senior Data Engineer works with: - Business Stakeholders - Data Engineers - Data Managers - Data Scientists - Cloud Engineers They understand business needs and requirements, assess the impacts of those needs, and translate them to data-driven and data-centric enterprise solutions. Additionally, they develop and build the published data layer objects and/or visualizations for consumption by the end user community. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Informatics, or 4 years of related experience. - 7 years SQL, Cloud, Visual Studio, ADO, Power BI, Tableau, or other development, reporting or coordination/collaboration tools. - 5 years of related experience in data, analytics, and/or Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technologies experience with direct Enterprise Production ownership and publishing. Requirements - Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) proficiency or certification (if applicable). - 5 years strong organizational, presentation, and writing skills and ability to successfully interact across functions at all levels of an organization and with customers. - 5 years in-depth experience with developing data and product roadmaps and functional specifications, UAT, customer support, launching new products, conducting customer research, and facilitating user testing. - 5 years experience in the Healthcare Industry; preferably, in relevant Electronic Medical Records (EMR) certifications, where applicable.
