Role Description A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), a leading provider of intelligent and automated cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a Systems Engineer for the India and SAARC territory. A10 Networks’ Systems Engineer acts in a Pre-Sales role promoting A10 product solutions. In this role, you’ll perform customer demonstrations explaining features and benefits to customers, assist the customer with network designs, and configure equipment to meet specific customer requirements. - Providing technical and sales support for accounts and channel in assigned territory - Perform presentations (technical, products, solution) for customers, partners, and prospects - Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities - Be responsible for POC testing, RFP & technical solutions drafting, competitor analysis, training materials, media soft paper, and promotional documentation organizing - Internal training for sales and marketing team; external training for Channel partners & key customers - Remote and on-site support for customer technical problems - On-site technical support for key customers technical troubleshooting Qualifications - A bachelor’s degree in EE or CS (or equivalent) with 8+ years of related industry experience - Minimum 6 years’ experience in Pre-sales role - Knowledge of Layer-4-7 protocols and technologies, such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, and SSL/TLS - Strong L2/L3 expertise with an emphasis on Network Routing Protocols, such as OSPF/BGP - In-depth knowledge in multiple areas of specialization: Virtualization, Cloud-Native, Application Acceleration, DDoS mitigation, IPv4 Preservation/IPv6 Migration technologies, and Traffic Security - Understanding of Gen AI Architecture - Strong operating experience in at least one of the following areas: Application Delivery Controller, Enterprise Applications, Network Security - Ability to work independently, effectively, and as a team member Requirements - Relevant certifications (e.g., A10 Certified professional, CCNA / CCNP / CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIP, F5 201/301/401, Palo Alto / Fortinet certified engineer) are highly desirable - Competitive knowledge in Layer 4-7 switching including solutions, technology, and product offerings - Knowledgeable and conversant about company, competitive landscape, technologies, solutions, product strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats - Knowledge of protocols and technologies in mobile service provider/ISP, such as CGNAT, Gi/SGi Firewall, GTP Firewall, DDoS Clean Pipe - Scripting programming experience in Shell or TCL along with Unix/Linux technical experience - Experience with container orchestration solutions (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes) Company Description
