Role Description A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), a leading provider of intelligent and automated cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a Systems Engineer for the India and SAARC territory. A10 Networks’ Systems Engineer acts in a Pre-Sales role promoting A10 product solutions. In this role, you’ll perform customer demonstrations explaining features and benefits to customers, assist the customer with network designs, and configure equipment to meet specific customer requirements. - Providing technical and sales support for accounts and channel in assigned territory - Perform presentations (technical, products, solution) for customers, partners, and prospects - Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities - Be responsible for POC testing, RFP & technical solutions drafting, competitor analysis, training materials, media soft paper, and promotional documentation organizing - Internal training for sales and marketing team; external training for Channel partners & key customers - Remote and on-site support for customer technical problems - On-site technical support for key customers technical troubleshooting Qualifications - A bachelor’s degree in EE or CS (or equivalent) with 8+ years of related industry experience - Minimum 6 years’ experience in Pre-sales role - Knowledge of Layer-4-7 protocols and technologies, such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, and SSL/TLS - Strong L2/L3 expertise with an emphasis on Network Routing Protocols, such as OSPF/BGP - In-depth knowledge in multiple areas of specialization: Virtualization, Cloud-Native, Application Acceleration, DDoS mitigation, IPv4 Preservation/IPv6 Migration technologies, and Traffic Security - Understanding of Gen AI Architecture - Strong operating experience in at least one of the following areas: Application Delivery Controller, Enterprise Applications, Network Security - Ability to work independently, effectively, and as a team member Requirements - Relevant certifications (e.g., A10 Certified professional, CCNA / CCNP / CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIP, F5 201/301/401, Palo Alto / Fortinet certified engineer) are highly desirable - Competitive knowledge in Layer 4-7 switching including solutions, technology, and product offerings - Knowledgeable and conversant about company, competitive landscape, technologies, solutions, product strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats - Knowledge of protocols and technologies in mobile service provider/ISP, such as CGNAT, Gi/SGi Firewall, GTP Firewall, DDoS Clean Pipe - Scripting programming experience in Shell or TCL along with Unix/Linux technical experience - Experience with container orchestration solutions (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes) Company Description

Role Description The Strategic Account Executive is a strong hunter responsible for driving net–new business within the most Enterprise accounts global and national accounts. This role focuses on multi–year platform adoption, competitive takeouts, and influencing C–level technology roadmaps in AI, cloud, application delivery, and security. While primarily a hunter role, the EAE may also manage a select group of install base accounts depending on territory structure. Candidates with startup mindset to establish themselves as profitable business unit preferred. Key Responsibilities - Identify, target, and close net–new strategic accounts in assigned region - Lead executive level conversations influencing long–term technology roadmaps - Own complex, multi–threaded deals, articulating a strong value proposition and competitive differentiation - Position A10 as the AI–era platform for security, ADC, and traffic management - Build and maintain a strong pipeline through targeted prospecting, events, account-based marketing (ABM), and channel co–selling - May manage select install base accounts to capture expansion when aligned with strategic goals Qualifications - 12+ years of proven sales experience in a high-tech or networking industry, with a focus on BFSI, Gaming, ISP’s, IT & ITES & Healthcare & Pharma, PSU, Education - Demonstrated strong experience selling solutions (e.g., network security, cloud networking, load balancing & DDOS) - Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment - A tactical thinker with the ability to understand and execute sales strategies across any vertical, any customer type, and any regional environment - Able to quickly assess diverse business conditions, adapt messaging to multiple industries, and tailor solution positioning to varied customer needs - Comfortable navigating complex, multicultural, and multi-regional business landscapes, ensuring effective engagement and consistent deal execution anywhere in the territory - Deep knowledge of ADC, security, cloud networking, and AI infrastructure - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills - Ability to influence and build relationships with senior executives, technical leaders, and decision-makers - Self-motivated, driven, and results oriented - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities - Experienced of leveraging two–tier distribution and channel partnerships Requirements - AI Use Guidelines for Interviews: Our interviews are designed to reflect your own skills and thinking.
