Pharmacy Systems Analyst

• Design, build, and refine complex pricing models in SQL and Looker to automate and enhance the accuracy of client savings projections • Translate business requirements from stakeholders into technical specifications for the development and validation of our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in collaboration with the Data Analytics and Engineering groups • Coordinate directly with Data and Engineering teams to ensure pricing logic is aligned with broader company data architecture and product roadmaps • Contribute to the evolution of the Pricing Analytics codebase, adhering to best practices for development, rigorous audit protocols, and code reviews to ensure 'client-ready' accuracy across all automated tools • Maintain a transparent project roadmap for pricing tool enhancements and create detailed technical documentation for all pipelines and internal logic • Provide 'Tier 3' technical support to the Submission Pod, stepping in for highly complex ad-hoc analyses or during peak volume periods to ensure queue stability • Execute deep-dive analyses and investigations into large datasets and provide clear insights on findings • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external partners through email, Slack, phone, video call, and Jira • Develop a complete understanding of reporting needs and work cross-functionally to scope projects and develop self-service BI reporting and automation whenever relevant • Continuously analyze and evaluate existing reporting processes, identifying inefficiencies or gaps, and proactively deploying creative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years in a Data Analytics or Pricing focused role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent)
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, optimization) and experience with Looker (LookML), Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Familiarity with GitHub/Version Control and project management tools (e.g., Jira) is highly preferred
  • PBM or Healthcare experience is a significant plus, specifically regarding pharmacy claims data
  • The ability to take a 'messy' business requirement from a Sales Lead and translate it into a clean, repeatable technical specification
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • You take pride in the accuracy of your formulas and the cleanliness of your code
  • Capable of facilitating deep technical discussions with Engineers while being able to translate the 'why' to non-technical stakeholders
