Tines
• Design, build, and harden product features within a compliance-regulated cloud environment. • Building features specific to AWS GovCloud users, including authentication methods required by federal agencies. • Develop abstractions for engineering tasks to reduce friction in compliance work. • Enable seamless feature development across commercial and government environments. • Analyze applications for security gaps and implement necessary changes. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams to solutions that meet security controls. • Mentor engineers on secure design patterns. • Support federal customers operating in CMMC environments.
Job Requirements
- Roughly 7+ years as a professional software engineer. Proven track record of success as a senior software engineer.
- Direct experience of building and delivering software using a high-level programming language.
- Experience building software that operates in compliance-regulated or security-sensitive environments is a strong plus.
- Comfortable reasoning about security at the application layer.
- Education or experience necessary to succeed; familiarity with Ruby and TypeScript is desirable, but we value curiosity and learning.
- Broad role requiring the willingness to pitch in anywhere when needed.
- Customer obsessed and proactive in resolving issues.
- Focused on important problems over interesting ones. Commitment to not getting burnt out from overwork.
