White Cap
• Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills • Prepares and executes account plans • Sells White Cap value proposition and products • Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers • Enters and processes customer orders • Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members
- Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence
- Competitive nature with a drive to succeed
- Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics
- Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities
