Role Description A Client Manager role at OpenText is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to impact lives. The Client Manager will be focused on supporting Professional Services sales to Enterprise Accounts. This position is remote within the United States and is responsible for supporting US-based accounts. - Work closely with the customer account team including delivery practices, Sales Account Executives, Technical Pre-Sales, Value Engineering, and OT leads for other value-add services. - Drive high customer satisfaction while actively supporting peers across North America for mutual success against the OT targets of bookings, revenue, margin, and reference-ability. What the Role Offers - Working with Sales Team generating revenue opportunities by developing solutions for clients based upon OpenText products using creativity and the available tools. - Aggressively pursuing a pipeline of opportunities to generate bookings meeting quarterly individual and territorial booking target expectations. - Qualify, research, track and develop leads to viable business opportunities. - Keep sales opportunities and project updates current and accurate in our CEM system. - Ensure timely planning and coordination of resource needs, sales forecasts, proposals, and contract approvals. - Monitor and report on expected revenue and sales performance each quarter to senior leadership. - Support the team in responding to client requests, tracking potential opportunities, and participating in internal meetings to keep OpenText stakeholders informed about client activities. - Effectively articulate the value proposition to multiple organizational levels. - Negotiate project deliverables/schedules/costing for services from external suppliers or other groups within OpenText. - Develop strong business cases, proposals, and presentations for sales opportunities. - Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build industry and customer awareness of company services and solutions. - Maintain a strong knowledge of the industry, trends, technology, competitive offerings, and customer requirements, and provide informed feedback to the company. - Provide leadership in promoting, identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to any processes. - Share constructive and successful strategies with peers and other colleagues to benefit the entire team. Qualifications - University Degree or College Diploma and/or relevant IM/IT experience (4-7 years) or equivalent. - Expertise in complex business and technical processes and their implications across the enterprise. - Knowledge of project management disciplines and processes. - Experience selling Professional Services preferred. - Knowledge of the OpenText product offerings and how to associate such to client’s business requirements. - At least two years prior experience closing and directing engagements totaling at least $1 million in annual fees. - Strong presence and confidence, exhibiting professional maturity and strong communication skills. - Solid work ethic with a willingness to ’do what it takes’ to meet client demands. - Willingness to travel as per business needs.
