Job Summary Aretum is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sr. FOIA Analyst to join our team. As a Sr. FOIA Analyst at Aretum, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program and ensuring compliance with FOIA regulations and guidelines. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Responsibilities - Review and analyze FOIA requests to determine if they meet the requirements for processing - Conduct research and gather information from various sources to support FOIA requests - Prepare written responses to FOIA requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FOIA regulations - Coordinate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather and review responsive documents - Track and monitor FOIA requests, ensuring timely responses and adherence to established deadlines - Provide guidance and training to staff regarding FOIA regulations, policies, and procedures - Stay updated on changes in FOIA regulations and guidelines, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the FOIA program - Manage and maintain FOIA tracking systems and databases
Job Requirements
- 5 years of federal FOIA experience
- J.D.
- Ability to process FOIA requests from cradle-to-grave
- Experience reviewing large record sets and applying redactions to responsive records in accordance with the FOIA, and any applicable case law
- Experience drafting correspondence
- Experience managing FOIA admin files in accordance with office SOPs
- Experience preparing FOIA appeal packages for legal sufficiency review
- Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with FOIAXpress
- Experience working with OGC on FOIA appeals or FOIA litigation matters
- Travel Requirements
- This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

Role Description The Part-time Faculty member is a faculty position with non-exempt status in the School of Business. This non-tenure track part-time faculty position is expected to provide academic instruction to degree, certificate, and non-degree learners. TechOp Solutions is seeking a remote Senior FOIA Analyst provides advanced Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) processing support to our government client. This role performs cradle-to-grave processing of FOIA requests, including analysis, records coordination, redaction, exemption application, and response preparation, while ensuring compliance with FOIA statute, the Privacy Act, Department of Justice (DOJ) - Perform end-to-end processing of FOIA requests from intake through final response preparation. - Analyze requests to determine scope, complexity, and routing requirements. - Coordinate with program offices to identify and obtain responsive records. - Identify operational risks,, and compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions with Government stakeholders. - Mentors Junior Analyst - Performs additional duties as assigned. ***This position is contingent upon contract award.***
