Role Description The Senior Civil Rights Investigator holds expertise in the subject matter and independently investigates the most complex complaints of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. You will work directly with the ownership team and play a key role in the company's ability to pursue blind bids and expand beyond referral-based work. Responsibilities - Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architect and engineer-provided plans using PlanSwift and other estimating software — including material counts, labor hour assessments, and site-specific civil requirements. - Review project specifications, addendums, plan schedules, and local permitting requirements thoroughly to identify missing information and flag questions before bid submission. - Manage the full bid solicitation and submission process — from coordinating supplier and vendor pricing to preparing and submitting complete, accurate bids. - Track active bid invitations, manage the estimating pipeline, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on pricing and scope clarification. - Support post-award workflows including subcontractor buyouts, submittals packages, and ongoing coordination with subs and suppliers on scope and scheduling. - Collaborate with office staff on vendor outreach, quote compilation, and bid breakdowns as needed. - Demonstrate familiarity with South Florida market conditions, local permitting requirements, and project timelines specific to Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
