The Quality Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that our operations teams meet both regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks. Their work is crucial for minimizing errors, ensuring smooth operations, and preventing costly penalties. - Must have Minimum 5 years brokerage experience. - CCS Designation is required. - Review and confirm entries prior to being sent to CBSA’s CARM system for accounting purposes. - Work with staff and branch managers on training sessions. - Follow up with clients as required to ensure description and HS accuracy. - Database maintenance including updating special instructions and classifications. - Vet documents to ensure compliance with CBSA and all other regulatory agencies. Examples Include CUSMA certificates, licenses, certificates, and other import documents. - Stay current with upcoming regulatory changes impacting the Willson International client base. - Advise staff on the classification, valuation and import requirements of merchandise. - Complete and accurate tariff opinions including duty rate and SIMA scope checks are routine. Qualifications - High School Diploma is required. College Diploma an asset. - Must have minimum five (5) years Customs Brokerage experience. - Strong working knowledge of ITMR, ECM systems. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook. - CCS Designation is required, CTCS preferred.
