Role Description We are looking for a EPC Project Manager to join our Rexel USA team REMOTE! The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Project Manager is responsible for managing highly complex construction site-based project business by managing material, placing orders, and tracking shipments. The EPC Project Manager owns the relationship with the customer, manages relationships with sales and vendors, and is responsible for maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the construction project. What You'll Do: - Manage all aspects of onsite high profile/complex construction projects that require a high level of product knowledge. - Help establish KPI’s specific to each project as well as establish performance tracking methods, project dashboards, and project issue trackers. - Communicate to the customer, expedite OS&Ds (over, short & damaged) and resolve customer issues promptly. - Read through all Purchase Orders to get an understanding of requirements and ensure terms and conditions are correct. - Work with sales and vendors to obtain additional margin when possible. - Coordinate with vendors, customers, and sales teams on pricing, order placement, claims and returned goods, and account management to ensure we are meeting customer expectations. - Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and customer satisfaction. - Work closely with customer project team, internal staff, and procurement teams to maximize inventory efficiency and reduce excess. - Ensure that all project site safety requirements and protocols are established and met. - Determine vendors and purchase requirements looking for additional pricing advantages and product substitution opportunities to substantially improve the overall profitability of the project. - Manage the delivery schedule, product quality, information updates, and back charge. - Proactively seek alternative methods to deliver the project on time and within budget. - Provide timely price quotations, requotes, and/or proposals. - Develop relationships with customer, strategic suppliers, and vendors. - Coordinate with project team for documentation requirements such as O&M manuals, Test Reports, submittal packages, and Certificates of Compliance. - Establish cadence calls with internal and external project teams to track performance. - May provide training and guidance to entry level Project Managers. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - 7+ years of quotation, project management, or customer service experience. - Experience in electrical distribution industry preferred. - High School or GED - Required. - Ability to effectively communicate with customers and peers. - Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated and enthusiastic about the business. - Must possess the capacity to function effectively and multi-task in a demanding and time-sensitive environment. - Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills. - Must be analytical and able to solve problems. - Ability to drive results. Role Description In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts with engineering firms, consultants, third-party vendors, general contractors, subcontractors, and operations and maintenance teams. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire project life cycle of industrial decarbonization projects, from conception and design through procurement, permitting, construction, start-up, and commissioning. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience managing industrial projects with total installation costs ranging from $20 million to $50 million. This position is remote, with periodic travel to project sites required.
