Role Description WSP is seeking a Sr. Manager, IT/OT Solution Architecture & Grid Modernization to join our Power & Energy Advanced Complimentary Services (ACS) team in our Houston, TX office or remotely. You will lead the development, solutioning, and delivery of digital utility and critical infrastructure programs across the energy sector. This senior leadership role combines enterprise solution architecture, principal technical leadership, business development, and industry thought leadership responsibilities. This Sr. Manager will serve as the lead architect and trusted advisor for utility clients undergoing digital transformation, grid modernization, and operational technology modernization initiatives. The position provides technical leadership for programs involving: - EMS - ADMS - DERMS - OMS - SCADA - GIS - AMI - Advanced Applications - Data Centers - Cloud Platforms - Enterprise Systems - IT/OT convergence solutions across Generation, Transmission, and Distribution environments Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - 10+ years of experience in utility consulting, utility operations, digital transformation, systems integration, or solution architecture. - 10+ years leading large-scale EMS, ADMS, DERMS, SCADA, OMS, or grid modernization programs. - Demonstrated experience serving as Chief Architect, Lead Architect, Principal Consultant, or Technical Lead. - Strong understanding of utility operations across Generation, Transmission, and Distribution. - Experience leading client-facing engagements and managing executive stakeholders. - Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. - Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. - Travel up to 30% for client engagements, project delivery activities, business development efforts, and industry conferences. Requirements - Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Power Systems, or Business Administration (Preferred). - Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, TOGAF, CISSP, ISA/IEC 62443, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications (Preferred). - Experience with NERC CIP compliance, Zero Trust architectures, cloud modernization, and operational cybersecurity (Preferred). - Experience with utility data platforms, AI/ML applications, and advanced analytics (Preferred). Role Description We are looking for a Project & Resource Manager (m/f/d) to join our Research Operations & Enablement team and ensure the smooth, structured, and timely allocation of research capacity across a high volume of market research projects. In this role, you will act as the central coordination point between Account Management, Customer Success, and Research teams. You will ensure that incoming projects are properly assessed, prioritised, and staffed with the right researchers at the right time. Your work will directly enable Appinio to scale delivery while protecting team capacity and maintaining fast turnaround times. Beyond coordination, you will support the continuous improvement of our processes by helping to streamline project handovers, reduce manual effort, and contribute to the automation of project intake and resource allocation.
