We’re looking for a highly strategic Credit Risk Manager to spearhead the credit, pricing, and distribution strategies for our next phase of Flex market expansion. You will lead a growing team of analysts focused on: - Unlocking new customer acquisition channels - Optimizing real-time decisioning journeys - Scaling our credit card proposition safely Qualifications - Commercial, strategic credit leader with extensive experience in unsecured lending, ideally with a background in credit cards - Understanding of lending economics, including experience with risk-based pricing, promotional lending constructs, and underwriting strategies - Track record of driving growth through varied distribution networks (e.g., aggregators or digital marketing channels) - Exceptional stakeholder manager who thrives in collaboration across diverse disciplines - Experience in leading and developing analytical talent - Strong analytical and data capabilities backed by technical coding skills (SQL is a must-have; Python and Looker experience is a plus) - Highly motivated by fast-paced, "zero-to-one" environments Requirements - Develop and execute credit risk frameworks for new and expanding acquisition channels - Design, test, and deploy sophisticated underwriting and real-time decisioning strategies - Own the risk architecture for complex commercial propositions - Oversee or partner closely on credit risk valuations - Hire and develop a lean team of elite analysts - Act as the primary credit risk partner to a cross-functional squad - Own performance tracking and monthly monitoring for new origination streams Benefits - Relocation assistance to the UK - Visa sponsorship available - Flexible working hours - Learning budget of £1,000 a year for books, training courses, and conferences - And much more, see our full list of benefits Company Description Diversity and inclusion are a priority for us, and we’re ensuring we have support for all our people to grow at Monzo.
