Senior Manager Public Relations

Role Description In the strategically key position of Senior Manager Public Relations – Central Europe, you’ll report directly to the Director of Communications, EMEA, and will be instrumental in leading press relations and organic social media activities across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and other relevant markets in Central Europe. - Co-creating public relations campaigns and content (i.e., press materials, digital assets for owned and corporate social media channels, thought leadership events) in partnership with local markets, Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Access & Marketing that result in positive press coverage, online engagement and greater awareness among public stakeholders (i.e., patient organizations, NGOs, authorities) - Acting as an in-house journalist by finding and promoting brand, business, clinical, patient and employer stories to public audiences - Actively building and maintaining relationships with journalists, influencers and industry stakeholders to secure press coverage, promote engagement with social media content and build corporate brand awareness - Serving as official company spokesperson – for the press and journalists - Chaperoning and managing senior management interactions with media/journalists/the press - Protecting the company’s reputation through crisis communications – this includes monitoring press and social media, providing crisis communications counsel to internal stakeholders and creating and disseminating reactive communications - Developing and implementing PR metrics, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of PR/media relations campaigns - Assessing & managing PR agency capabilities to meet the public relations needs in key Southern European markets - Ensuring effective use of resources and ROI Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field - Minimum of 5-7 years of public relations and/or marketing communications experience Requirements - A nose for news – an understanding of what makes a compelling & relevant story for journalists and the public, and a knowledge of the news process - Strong PR strategy and planning experience, with a proven track record of pitching and landing news in media outlets - A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and local market affiliates to co-create PR campaigns and ensure aligned messaging and consistent execution - Strong understanding of press and organic social media best practices, with the ability to apply these principles to achieve press coverage and/or engagement on social media - Experience as a media spokesperson and media chaperone - Experience in crisis communication and reputation management, including responding promptly and effectively to inquiries, issues, and incidents - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously as well as experience managing budgets - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Fluency in German & English, with additional language skills desirable - Previous healthcare PR experience with a mix of agency & corporate experience preferred - Ability to travel as needed Benefits - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and supportive team

Qualifications - 8+ years of professional experience in State and Local Government Affairs, SLED Sales, or Public Policy. - Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or equivalent practical experience. - Deep knowledge of state-level procurement vehicles, RFP processes, and budget cycles. - Proven ability to navigate complex relationships with state governors’ offices, CIOs, and university chancellors. - Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical value to state and local policy leaders. Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degree in Law, Public Policy, or Education Administration. - Existing network within high-impact state technology councils or the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO). - Experience in the semiconductor or high-performance computing (HPC) industries. Requirements - The approximate base salary range for this position is $128,445 - $167,497. - The total compensation package includes base, bonus, equity, and a range of benefit options found on our career site. - Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity. - Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
