Job Requirements

  • Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California

  • Experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24 in clinical or school settings
  • Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - Typically 8+ years of experience working as a clinical educator, reimbursement specialist, patient services professional, nurse educator, rare disease specialist, or related healthcare field. - Demonstrated experience supporting patients through complex access and reimbursement pathways. - Demonstrated experience independently managing complex patient access and reimbursement situations. - Strong understanding of insurance and the access process, specialty pharmacy distribution models, prior authorizations, appeals, and financial assistance programs. - Proven ability to influence outcomes across providers, specialty pharmacies, patient support services, and internal cross-functional stakeholders. - Experience serving as a trusted resource, mentor, trainer, or informal leader within a field-based organization. - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned geography (approximately 50–75%).
