Mental Health Therapist – Part-Time

Two Chairs

• Deliver remote, evidence-based therapy to adult clients (18+), practicing modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI. • Maintain a caseload of 7-20 attended ongoing therapy and consult sessions per week • Use data to drive effective treatment and adjust your approach based on client progress • Collaborate with other mental health providers as needed and refer clients when appropriate • Maintain progress notes and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations

Job Requirements

  • License: Active license and in good standing as a LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in Washington
  • Cross-licensure: Willing and motivated to become licensed in other states. We will cover the cost.
  • Caseload: Available for 8-24 hours per week, with 85% of time in client sessions. Sessions will include ongoing therapy and new client consults appointments.
  • Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience with adults (18+), at least six months of teletherapy experience, and proficient with clinical assessments (e.g., PHQ-9) for tracking client progress
  • Tech: At least six months of teletherapy experience and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Schedule: Select 7-10 session hours between 8am and 9pm PST, Monday through Friday. Available during regular business hours for a minimum of 1 hour per week during the first 6 weeks for training, followed by 30 minutes per month for ongoing support.
  • Documentation: All documentation to be completed, signed, and locked in EMR within 48 hours of client contact. Option to use an AI-assist tool.

  • Earn a clinical rate of $76/hour (includes mandatory training) and an administrative rate of $23/hour
  • Sign-on Bonus: Start by July 31st and earn a sign-on bonus of $500 for 7-12 client hours and $1,000 for 13+ client hours.
  • Select a weekly caseload ranging from 7 to 20 clients, with session availability between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - Typically 8+ years of experience working as a clinical educator, reimbursement specialist, patient services professional, nurse educator, rare disease specialist, or related healthcare field. - Demonstrated experience supporting patients through complex access and reimbursement pathways. - Demonstrated experience independently managing complex patient access and reimbursement situations. - Strong understanding of insurance and the access process, specialty pharmacy distribution models, prior authorizations, appeals, and financial assistance programs. - Proven ability to influence outcomes across providers, specialty pharmacies, patient support services, and internal cross-functional stakeholders. - Experience serving as a trusted resource, mentor, trainer, or informal leader within a field-based organization. - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned geography (approximately 50–75%). Role Description The Care Coordinator is responsible for facilitating conversations and collaboration between interdisciplinary care teams including Care Navigators, Care Coordinators, Primary Care Providers, Orthopedic and Physical Therapy teams.
