Mid Product Data Analyst

Role Description We're looking for a Mid Product Data Analyst to join our Players tribe. You will own the analytics for a product domain end-to-end: - Governing the tracking that captures user behaviour. - Running the analyses that shape what gets built next. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to make sure every key decision is grounded in data, not intuition. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science, or related fields. - Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics or a similar role, ideally with more than 1 year in product analytics. - Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases. - Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. - Understanding of experimentation (A/B Testing, Multivariate Testing). - Familiarity with event-based analytics tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude. - Basic understanding of machine learning and data engineering concepts. - Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R. - Good communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Requirements - Design and implement event tracking to capture user interactions and behaviour within your product domain. - Govern tracking quality in your domain: validate that events are firing correctly, maintain the Gold Standard event set, and keep tracking debt under control. - Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor) to accelerate your analytical work; validate AI-assisted output for accuracy and business context before it influences decisions. - Analyze user funnel drop-offs to identify root causes of friction and lost conversions. - Evaluate A/B test results to assess the impact of product changes, and make sound recommendations even when results are inconclusive. - Build and maintain dashboards to track product performance and KPIs across your domain. - Work closely with data engineers and analytics engineers to co-create reliable data products and pipelines. - Run structured analyses across multiple data sources to surface trends and product opportunities. - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to embed data in every product decision. - Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product improvement and feature development. Extra points - Experience using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) in a data or analytics workflow, including building prototypes. - Experience in a marketplace. - Cloud data warehouse experience (Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or similar). - Knowledge of dbt or other data pipeline tools. - Experience with predictive modeling (Forecasting, MMM, Neural Networks). - Based in Madrid or Barcelona, Spain.
