Senior Travel Consultant

BCD Travel

• Accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.) • Providing active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related products • Working independently on requests as assigned and taking the initiative to provide assistance • Providing day-to-day assistance to the team • Being the first point of contact for team members and responding to questions, providing direction on policies and procedures • Working in project teams on projects related to operations and coaching travel consultants when the team lead is absent • Expertly using the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests • Anticipating and providing assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the customer • Responding to the customer promptly and providing the customer with undivided attention to the request • Seeking opportunities to review operational processes and the commercial relationship with customers and providing suggestions for improvement • Performing quality management such as error management and assisting in projects as assigned • Meeting individual and team goals

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments
  • Hands‑on expertise managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately under pressure
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi‑regional operations setup
  • Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes
  • Advanced skills on GDS Amadeus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills.
