Role Description Design pages that convert. Backed by research, not vibes. We're hiring a Senior Conversion Designer to own the design of every page that touches our customers: landing pages, sales funnels, Shopify storefronts, checkouts, upsells, and the visual assets that live on all of them. You'll work across all 3 brands and report to the creative manager. The thing that makes this role different: you're not just making pages look good, you're designing for conversion. - You live in the mind of our target customer before you open Figma. - You synthesize what real customers are saying into design decisions that move the needle on conversion rate and revenue per visitor. What you'll own - Landing pages built to convert: - Turn copy from the Creative Strategist into high-converting landing pages. - Design the page flow, hierarchy, modules, and visual story. - Produce or source every asset on the page: images, graphics, icons, badges. - Achieve angle congruency from the ad to the landing page to the sales funnel. - Leverage AI image generation to produce custom imagery faster. - Consider above-the-fold conversion, scroll behavior, mobile-first rendering, page speed, and trust signals. - Ship pages that the buyer team is excited to send paid traffic to. - Sales funnel and checkout design: - Redesign and A/B test funnels, sales pages, checkouts, upsells, and post-purchase flows. - Design new funnel architectures with revenue per visitor as the success metric. - Build funnels in layered Figma files for easy implementation. - Think in upsell paths, decline flows, bundle psychology, and offer structure. - Partner with media buyers and Creative Strategist on testing strategies. - Shopify storefront design: - Own the design and improvement of Shopify storefront experiences. - Make decisions on product page layout, collection page UX, navigation, and trust signals. - Consider returning customer experience and repeat purchase paths. - Customer-driven design research: - Read Facebook comments, product reviews, and subreddits to understand customer objections and language. - Synthesize findings into design decisions: hero images, social proof modules, FAQ sections. - Final visual asset production: - Custom product photography direction or DIY when needed. - AI-generated imagery integrated into your workflow. - Produce icons, badges, graphics, illustrations, and lifestyle imagery. - Performance accountability: - Accountable for conversion rate and revenue per visitor on your pages and funnels. - Diagnose underperforming pages and iterate based on learnings. - Partner with media buyers and Creative Strategist on hypothesis generation. Qualifications - 5+ years designing landing pages, funnels, and DTC ecommerce experiences. - Proven conversion track record with a portfolio of successful projects. - Strong customer-research instinct. - Layered Figma fluency. - Experience with GemPages or equivalent Shopify funnel builder. - Basic front-end code skills (HTML, CSS, basic Liquid). - Strong AI image generation workflow. - DTC ecommerce native. - Self-starter, no handholding. - Proactive remote operator. - Strong written and verbal communication. Requirements - Treating the role as visual craft only, with no interest in conversion outcomes disqualifies you. - Designing without doing customer research first is not acceptable. - Falling in love with your designs instead of the data is a disqualifier. - Bringing problems without proposed solutions is not tolerated. - Waiting for direction rather than building is not encouraged. - Working hours that look busy without conversion improvements is a concern. - Operating without AI tools integrated into your workflow is not acceptable.
