Junior FOIA Analyst

- Assist in conducting internet and records-based research to support FOIA search and retrieval efforts. - Support document review, identification of responsive records, and preparation of materials for redaction. - Apply appropriate FOIA exemptions and redactions consistent with federal law - Receives, logs, scans, and routes incoming FOIA and mail records in accordance with established procedures. - Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of FOIA request processing experience supporting a US Government agency within the last 24 months.
  • Proficient in applying redaction tools and documenting FOIA exemption determinations.
  • Associate degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive internet and records research in support of FOIA search and review functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with leadership.
