Originations Analyst

King Energy

• Focus on the lifecycle of a project from site control and lease signing through to Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Permission to Operate (PTO) • Work closely with the Sales team to build financial models using BOLT pricing model • Ensure that leases are 'finance-ready' when they reach the next stage of the pipeline • Proactively identify and mitigate potential drags on lease negotiations that could impact the financing timeline • Blend of financial modeling, internal collaboration, and an understanding of project-level details influencing financial viability

Job Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in financial transactions or project-based consulting rather than traditional FP&A
  • Excel expert with the ability to build and manipulate complex financial models to support sales proposals and project financing
  • Independent worker with the grit to navigate complex lease negotiations and drive projects toward completion
  • Effective communicator who can partner with internal sales teams and external stakeholders to articulate financial requirements
  • Strategic analyst who can spot potential obstacles in lease structures and position projects for quick financing
