• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices • Enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows • Contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, with strong preference for GitLab CI (pipelines, shared runners, multi-stage workflows, templates)
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform as a consumer of shared modules, including:
  • Reading and understanding module inputs/outputs
  • Interpreting Terraform plans/diffs and state
  • Wiring standard modules into team or environment-specific configurations safely
  • Practical experience with artifact management, ideally Cloudsmith or similar systems for build artifacts, container images, and Terraform modules
  • Solid understanding of GCP fundamentals—projects, IAM, service accounts, networking basics (VPC, subnets, load balancing), and common platform services (e.g., Cloud Run, CloudSQL)
  • Experience building and operating containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes or similar orchestration technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (Bash / Python) for CI job automation, Terraform tooling, and reporting
  • Experience with security and compliance controls in cloud or platform contexts (e.g., IAM least-privilege, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code, audit/report needs)
  • Strong Communication Skills

Role Description The Release Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of software releases, patches, and hotfixes for the C2BMC Regional Apps Software Team. This position supports a large, globally deployed software system used by the Department of Defense, with different COCOMs deploying different versions of the software baseline. The Release Manager will be responsible for coordinating with developers, product owners, and engineering managers to ensure that all software releases are properly planned, executed, and documented. - Ensure that all software releases, patches, and hotfixes are properly planned, executed, and documented, with accurate tracking of changes and updates to the various software branches. Qualifications - Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - At least 12 years of experience in software development, with a focus on release management, configuration management, or a related field. - Experience with large, complex software systems, including those used by the Department of Defense. - Familiarity with C2BMC-specific software deployment processes and procedures. - Certification in Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner). - Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Experience with metrics development and reporting, with ability to analyze and present complex data. - Existing 8140 Certification. Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on release management, configuration management. - Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). - Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, including planning, development, testing, and deployment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to acquire 8140 Certification.
