Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product communications, executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, or strategic communications.
  • Experience supporting executive thought leadership, including writing op-eds, keynote remarks, and executive social media.
  • Experience supporting B2B or enterprise-focused products, ideally within technology, SaaS, or platform companies.
  • Strong media relations experience with a track record of securing press and podcast interviews and speaking opportunities.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Experience supporting crisis communications or incident response.

This role will recruit, train and coordinate volunteers to take advocacy action and track advocacy opportunities in support of protecting people with lung disease from climate change and poor air quality in Houston, TX. Work collaboratively with nationwide and local Health Promotion and Advocacy staff to incorporate advocacy trainings and recruitment into educational campaigns that address extreme weather events, poor air quality, climate change and lung health.
