The qualities that help you thrive To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Principal Highways/Civil Engineer with a track record designing and delivering a range of civil engineering and infrastructure related projects across industries. You can navigate the gap between a rigorous design and a practical site outcome, and you understand that great engineering is as much about relationships and communication as it is about technical execution. You will be known for your ability to lead teams across stakeholders while working collaboratively, encouraging problem solving, with a delivery focus. - Ideally a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation or equivalent international accreditation, supported by a relevant engineering or similar tertiary qualification. - At least 10-15 years of experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects for a variety of Clients, such as the South Australian Government and the Department of Defence - Strong engineering judgement with experience leading design and development. - Client relationship and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships at a senior level. - Proficiency in civil design software including DRAINS, 12D and AutoCAD is an advantage; as is a working knowledge of Austroads and the ability to interpret and apply local authority and client-specific standards. Este profissional será responsável pela: - Concepção, modelagem, cálculo de volumes e detalhamento técnico de projetos de movimentação de terra para empreendimentos residenciais verticais de alta complexidade. - Garantir soluções logisticamente viáveis e economicamente eficientes, com foco estratégico na otimização do balanço de corte/aterro e na viabilização de subsolos, gerando o menor impacto financeiro possível no orçamento da obra. - Desenvolver e modelar projetos de terraplenagem para torres residenciais, considerando acessos, taludes, platôs e, especialmente, a geometria e logística de escavação para subsolos. - Realizar o estudo de massas detalhado (balanço de corte e aterro), focando na minimização de custos de bota-fora e empréstimo de terra, que impactam diretamente o orçamento do cliente. - Elaborar notas de serviço, seções transversais, perfis longitudinais e relatórios técnicos explicativos. - Compatibilizar os projetos de terraplenagem com as disciplinas de geotecnia (contenções e arrimos de subsolo), estrutura (fundações) e infraestrutura (drenagem/esgoto). - Realizar visitas técnicas eventuais para validação de premissas de projeto e acompanhamento de conformidade na execução da obra. • Perform and lead structural design for substation facilities, including foundations, steel structures, equipment supports, and miscellaneous structural components. • Support projects through all phases including conceptual design, detailed engineering, permitting support, and construction administration. • Work closely with electrical engineers, designers, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, constructible designs. • Provide technical guidance and review of designs prepared by junior engineers and designers. • Participate in client meetings, respond to contractor RFIs, and provide construction support as needed, including limited travel to project sites.
