Senior Principal Program Analyst

Role Description SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst for an exciting International Air Force program. The Program Analyst oversees and manages the financial budget by working closely with the Project Manager, Program Management Office, and the Government Mission Partner. Responsibilities include: - Participating in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting of project financials. - Implementing financial policies and procedures. - Establishing and maintaining cost/schedule baselines and forecasts. - Tracking funding, forecasts, actuals, and Estimates at Completion (EAC) to ensure sufficient funding is on contract to support execution timelines. - Working closely with other program and procurement analysts to forecast and track all travel, procurement, and staffing budgets. - Monitoring ongoing projects and serving as a liaison between program management and project teams. - Providing occasional after hours support to ensure schedules are met. The Program Analyst must be highly organized and responsive, with the ability to adapt and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key skills include: - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to lead meetings and facilitate consensus among stakeholders. - Customer-service driven attitude with a willingness to help others. - Capability to work both independently and as a team collaborator. Additional duties may include: - Reviewing status of projects and budgets; managing schedules and preparing status reports. - Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, performance, and schedule. - Developing and delivering financial updates to both customer and project teams focused on Program and Project processes and requirements. - Developing and applying mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving. - Ensuring contract requirements are being accomplished. - Tracking personnel vacancies and assisting with staff onboarding. - Ensuring that contractual and corporate cost and schedule objectives are met.
