This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Iteration Manager to contribute to the growth of our Engineering function and have a meaningful impact on current and future technology initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with multiple disciplines across technology teams and provides exposure to the development of top-grossing titles. Work mode: hybrid - 3 days per week from the Wave Office in Gdansk or Unity Office in Krakow. What You'll Do - Develop expertise in managing agile processes tailored to the specific needs of each technology team, enabling teams to work effectively and deliver high-quality outcomes. - Act as a JIRA expert, helping maintain clear and effective processes within our JIRA environment for technology teams. - Support the incremental delivery of technology solutions while proactively identifying gaps and proposing improvements that drive continuous growth and excellence. - Foster a collaborative team environment by supporting individual development, removing impediments, and helping teams stay accountable to their commitments. - Contribute to a positive, open, and supportive work atmosphere that promotes teamwork and shared success within the PMO and Engineering teams. What We're Looking For Essential - Strong passion for and understanding of agile methodologies, with hands-on experience facilitating agile ceremonies and evolving agile practices. - Superb communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to help prioritize work and support the Product Owner in managing competing demands. - Experience working in multidisciplinary technology teams. - Ability to support the creation and execution of technology roadmaps. - Proficiency in using Jira for project management in a technology environment. - A flexible, self-motivated, and collaborative attitude. - Agile certification from a recognized organization such as Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, PMI, or a similar body. - Curiosity about automation JIRA processes and openness towards AI solutions Nice to Have - Experience developing, managing, and improving team processes. - Experience with technical project management practices, including managing cross-team dependencies, timelines, and delivery risks alongside iteration management. - Familiarity with the games industry, particularly mobile games. - Experience with creative data visualisation in Atlassian Analytics Why Aristocrat? • Coach teams and leaders to embed Agile values, principles, and ways of working in day-to-day delivery and decision-making. • Enable teams to run their own events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. • Facilitate high-performing, self-managing teams by fostering psychological safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Identify team dynamics, systemic impediments, and organisational constraints, coaching others to address root causes effectively to enable self-managing teams. • Analyse systems of work and promote a culture of continuous improvement by helping the team and organisation identify areas for enhancement. • To collaborate with teams to establish methods to manage product backlogs which align with product and business goals. • Foster open communication and collaboration between team members, product owners, and stakeholders. • Educate team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and processes, ensuring a shared understanding of Agile values. • Monitor and report on team progress, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and stakeholders and to also establish an evidence based, data approach to provide insights for team improvement • Actively seek opportunities to expand Agile and Scrum knowledge and promote Agile best practices within the organisation. • To be responsible for the line management of Scrum Masters, Business Analysts and Product Owners in your team and to formulate personal development plans to ensure a structured career progression. • Document scrum processes and ways of working and ensure that such documentation is kept up to date and relevant. • Establish a community of practice(s) to encourage knowledge sharing and problem solving across teams. • Support leadership to create a framework for product development to flourish across digital studio, encompassing Product Management, software engineering and User Centred Design. • Use a range of coaching techniques, facilitation methods, and feedback models to unlock team and organisational performance • Adapt a coaching and mentoring style to suit different levels of Agile maturity, team contexts, and leadership needs. • Influence leaders and stakeholders at all levels to enable cultural change, agility, and outcome-focused delivery. • Promote a learning culture through experimentation, reflective practice, and evidence-based improvement.
