Role Description The Pricing Analyst is responsible for playing a key role in developing pricing strategies that support the sales and operations teams across Canada and the US. This role involves analytical work that will directly contribute to competitive proposals, long-term customer relationships, and the financial health of a growing business. This role reports to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Duties/Responsibilities - Develop and manage advanced Excel-based pricing models for sales opportunities, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with profitability targets. - Build supporting materials for pricing approvals and present financial assumptions to Sales, Operations, and Finance stakeholders. - Analyze pricing, cost, and performance data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. - Construct customer-specific pricing models for long-term support agreements, incorporating value analysis and obtaining internal approvals. - Forecast long-term support revenue streams, identifying risks in revenue and third-party costs in collaboration with the customer support team. - Maintain proposal records to build pricing standards and support consistent product segmentation. - Prepare End of Month commentary and supporting files summarizing long-term support performance and variances for key stakeholders. - Refresh and maintain the Analytics File to support End of Quarter reporting and executive decision-making. - Produce the Maintenance Ratios Report and Attrition File to track key performance indicators and customer contract trends. - Perform Deferred Revenue Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support as required. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proven experience in pricing analysis with solid quantitative and analytical skills. - Demonstrated background in financial analysis, cost modelling, and pricing strategy. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools and other AI toolsets is an asset. - Highly detail-oriented, self-driven, logical, and organized with the ability to manage competing priorities under firm deadlines. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software(s). Requirements - Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and/or 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred. - Experience in Net Suite is preferred. Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer/laptop. - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (including domestic and international), sometimes for extended periods, which may involve sitting during transit and walking at various locations. - Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
