Job Description

Workforce AI Optimization Analyst

SteadyMD

Be part of a team enabling access to better healthcare at SteadyMD! SteadyMD is a technology company and healthcare provider that powers high-quality telehealth experiences for its partners, including fast-growing digital healthcare companies, labs, pharmacies, and large employers like Amazon and Quest Diagnostics.  SteadyMD initially launched in two states: California and Missouri. By 2018, the company was licensed, operating, and providing care in all 50 states.  We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, automation-minded Workforce AI Optimization Analyst to support forecasting, staffing, and workforce operations through reporting, process automation, and analytics. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys data, building tools, and improving how teams work. - Support forecasting and staffing models by updating inputs, maintaining files, and validating trends. - Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for WFM and staffing metrics. - Help automate manual workflows across WFM (reporting, trackers, alerts, data pulls). - Support recruiting and training planning by optimizing the hiring funnel, onboarding throughput, and ramp performance. - Assist with intraday and weekly workforce performance monitoring (volume vs staffing, SLA risk, schedule gaps). - Document processes and create repeatable reporting/automation playbooks. - Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides insights to support data-driven decision-making for ad hoc and on-going reports. - Stay up-to-date with industry technologies and frameworks to identify trends to maintain best and cutting edge practices in AI. - Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in workforce analytics, WFM, operations, staffing analytics, or a related role.
  • 1-2 years of foundational experience in AI and automation tools (e.g., using ChatGPT responsibly for drafting, summarizing, and workflow support; building simple automations with scripts, macros, or no-code tools).
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning).
  • Comfort working with data and spotting patterns.
  • Experience building reports or dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar is a plus).
  • Curiosity and a mindset for automation (“there has to be a faster way”).
  • Can provide helpful insights from dense datasets
  • Creative self-starter capable of first principles thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skills that can work across a highly cross-functional environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a B2B SaaS start-up preferred
  • Experience in healthcare is a bonus, as well as exposure to WFM concepts (forecasting, staffing, scheduling), familiarity with recruiting, onboarding, or training operations.

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation. The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
  • Fun, Fast-paced Environment. An environment that is focused on disrupting the status quo and challenging conventional norms. We are focused on the results you can achieve, not how many hours you spend at a desk.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance. Also includes Basic Life and ADD offerings.
  • 401k & Parental Leave Benefits offered to all full-time employees.
  • Unlimited PTO. We trust our employees to make the right decisions for the business, and we also recognize that means taking time to take care of yourself.
