Contracts Manager
KPI Integrated Solutions
Position Summary The Contracts Manager supports the full lifecycle of customer and vendor contracts within KPI’s business. This role ensures commercial protection, risk mitigation, compliance with company standards, and alignment with project execution teams including Engineering, Controls, Field Installation, Procurement, Sales, and Finance. Key Responsibilities · Review customer contracts, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and change orders for commercial and legal risk. · Identify and negotiate redlines related to indemnification, limitation of liability, payment terms, warranty, insurance, and liquidated damages. · Ensure appropriate flow-down clauses to subcontractors and suppliers. · Support project managers with contract interpretation and compliance monitoring. · Maintain centralized contract repository and documentation controls. · Review certificates of insurance, bonds, and compliance requirements. · Assist in managing claims and disputes. · Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Field Operations. Preferred Experience · Experience in automation integrator or MHE project environments. · Familiarity with large-scale distribution center or fulfillment center projects. · Knowledge of lien waivers, bonds, and insurance. · Exposure to engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) or design-build contracts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or related field.
- 3–7 years of contracts administration and/or management experience in industrial, construction, automation, material equipment handling (“MHE”), or supply chain logistics environments.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions and construction-style contracts.
- Experience with milestone billing and payment schedules.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
