Role Description Ingredion is seeking a results‑driven sales professional to accelerate growth within our Sweetener Sales business across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening customer partnerships, expanding market presence, and delivering value‑added sweetener solutions aligned with evolving consumer and customer needs. As Sr. Account Manager, Sweetener Sales, you will own and grow assigned customer accounts while driving profitable revenue and volume growth across Ingredion’s sweetener portfolio. You will be responsible for strategic account management, pipeline development, and execution of sales plans in close collaboration with cross‑functional partners. This role reports to Sales Leadership within the Sweetener / Commercial organization. What You Will Do - Execute against annual customer revenue, volume, and margin targets for assigned accounts - Develop and manage strategic account plans that drive long‑term growth and customer value - Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and target applications - Strengthen multi‑level customer relationships to gain insight into customer strategies, innovation plans, and market needs - Drive sales of core and value‑added sweetener solutions through consultative selling - Collaborate with Technical Service, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality to deliver integrated customer solutions - Lead commercial discussions, price negotiations, and contract execution in alignment with business objectives - Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer brands to anticipate sweetener demand and opportunities Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field - 7–10+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably within food ingredients or sweeteners - Proven ability to manage strategic accounts and deliver sustainable, profitable growth - Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, negotiations, and pipeline management - Experience working in a remote, territory‑based sales role - Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications Requirements - Customer‑focused with a consultative and solutions‑oriented mindset - Results‑driven and proactive in identifying and capturing new opportunities - Comfortable engaging in both commercial and technical discussions - Collaborative team player who works effectively in a matrixed environment - Curious about food, beverage, and consumer trends impacting sweetener demand - Willing to travel as needed to support customer and business needs Benefits - Competitive total rewards package - Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401(k) plan with a competitive company match - Opportunities for learning, development, and advancement
