• Provide technical leadership for Solar and Storage proposals. • Drive completion of technical proposals, including costing, scheduling and assessment of technical risks, within proposal submission deadlines. • Analyze customer specifications and standards, particularly regarding grid compliance, cybersecurity and technical requirements. • Identify and clearly document deviations, clarifications or exceptions relative to GE Vernova standard platforms. • Coordinate with product development teams to assess feasibility of specific customer requests and their cost and schedule impacts. • Translate customer needs into relevant technical solutions tailored to their use case. • Prepare technical proposals: reference architecture, risk matrix, list of features and accessories, and estimate of project engineering work. • Oversee the creation and updating of product technical-commercial documentation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. • Support sales teams during technical presentations to customers, with a service- and value-oriented approach. • Complete customer technical questionnaires and respond to information requests. • Proactively communicate progress, blockers and risks to members of the proposal team. • Present proposed solutions to management, highlighting expected performance and associated risks.

• Work with Sales, channels and customers on pre-sales and post-Sales technical efforts on Industrial Communications products (MDS and Lentronics) • Develop and execute technical sales strategies relevant to market opportunities • Communicate individual customer requirements to Sales Manager in regards to designs and quotations • Communicate requirements for order fulfillment to sourcing and operations teams • Direct the management of customer’s with clear communication internally and externally • Document competitors’ activities and assess potential market moves • Review and influence customer specifications to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions for development of equipment and service quotations • Be engaged with other Communications Sales Application Engineers, Sales Managers and immediate manager • Make technical presentations to all levels of the customer’s organization • Develop engineering and installation work scopes, schedules and cost estimates to facilitate total scope project offerings • Manage and negotiate commercial and contractual risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process • Contribute positively to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality goals
