New Jersey Clean Energy Jobs Program
Role Description - Handle inbound and outbound calls with commercial energy customers - Assist customers with billing, payments, and account questions - Review and process energy incentive applications - Support customers through phone, email, and online chat - Maintain detailed and accurate account documentation - Follow all compliance and confidentiality guidelines - Perform additional administrative and back-office duties as needed - To be considered for this position you must be a current resident of New Jersey. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - 2+ years of professional work experience - 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to focus on repetitive data tasks with strong attention to detail - Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer - Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Requirements - Experience in business processing or back-office support (preferred) - Prior customer service or sales experience (preferred) - Strong computer and data-entry accuracy (preferred) - Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills (preferred) - Typing speed of 45–50 WPM (preferred) - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills (preferred) - Positive attitude and professionalism (preferred) - Ability to work limited overtime as needed (preferred) Benefits - $16+/hr (varies by location) - 8am-5pm (hours may vary)
