We’re hiring an Intern: Software Engineer at our rental facility in Columbia, MO to support our team for the summer of 2026. Primary Responsibilities - Work closely with assigned team to create or establish processes and work on specific projects. - Examples of Internship Projects include: - Research and plan a new project - Create a budget for a new project - Develop support materials - Plan an event - Manage a company blog - Manage social media accounts - Propose solutions to a current problem Qualifications - Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree at a US accredited college or university. - Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Experience writing and editing documentation. - Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. - Familiarity with using Microsoft Office products (Word) & G-Suite (Google Docs). - Must possess a professional yet enthusiastic and friendly demeanor. - Demonstrates a set of core values that includes integrity, drive, humility, and intelligence. - Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a positive manner. • Lead technical design (system sizing, equipment selection, electrical modeling) to meet performance and financial targets • Oversee technology selection for PV modules, trackers, DC collection, and wire management systems • Guide Independent Engineers (IE) through project financing diligence • Optimize design to achieve the lowest Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) • Develop and manage technical specifications for EPC, energy testing protocols, and vendor requirements • Support energy estimation for PPA negotiations and ensure cost-efficient, constructible solutions • Lead analysis of pre-construction met station data to improve energy model accuracy • Collaborate across teams (development, land, procurement) to resolve regulatory, permitting, and technical challenges • Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety standards • Analyze data to diagnose inverter faults and prepare root cause analysis (RCA) reports • Use field data to recommend design improvements and maintain as-built models for long-term system analysis • Support clean fuel and green hydrogen energy modeling • Develop simplified energy models for green molecule production

• Oversee a team responsible for E2E Project Management and Network Ready Delivery for all of BSPD’s off-net contracted services • Influence and support multiple NetEx Steering Committee Project Charter initiatives • Drive implementation of activities for complex projects • Support a diverse workforce that drives centralized construction and network related functions • Lead various Engineering and Construction centralized functions • Initiate process improvement and develop operational and network improvement techniques • Provide technical system support for Engineering and Construction applications • Provide critical data to drive ongoing operational and financial performance improvement. • Drive the company culture and strategies, creating strategies to achieve business goals • Lead by example in creating an environment that encourages open communication and builds strong cross-functional relationships
